Post# of 49777
On Monday evening, President Trump called for the House Intelligence Committee to investigate an agreement that allowed stakes in a uranium company with U.S. holdings to be sold to Russia.
"Why isn't the House Intelligence Committee looking into the Bill & Hillary deal that allowed big Uranium to go to Russia, Russian speech money to Bill, the Hillary Russian "reset," praise of Russia by Hillary, or Podesta Russian Company. Trump Russia story is a hoax. #MAGA!" the president wrote.

Trump was apparently referring to a 2015 report on Russia's nuclear energy agency purchasing shares of a Canadian uranium company with U.S. holdings whose financier donated to the Clinton Foundation.
According to the Washington Post, the donor, Frank Giustra, was involved with the company "Uranium One", in which Russia's Rosatom bought shares of in 2009.
When Rosatom petitioned to increase its share in Uranium One from 17 to 51 percent, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was involved in the "Russian Reset."
The Post reported that Clinton was not personally involved in the directing the approval process at the state department, and there was no proof that the sale was meant to coincide with the reset.
As the Washington Times reported, Clinton was accused of "pay-for-play" conduct and "influence peddling" in the wake of the agreement.
Trump also took aim at the conservative House Freedom Caucus, saying they "snatched defeat from the jaws of victory" by opposing the American Health Care Act.
