A New York Times writer accused white women walking the streets of Manhattan of being systemically racist, Tucker Carlson reported.
In a piece called "Was That Racist?", reporter Greg Howard accused white women of purposefully forcing him to "reroute" when passing on the sidewalks of New York.
Howard said that was the only demographic of pedestrian with which he experienced the allegedly untoward behavior.
Carlson said Howard claimed that he must divert onto the street or adjacent grass in order to avoid a collision.
Fox Sports 1 host Jason Whitlock said people like Howard often portray dislike of white women despite having good friends who are such.
He said they often vent as a "defense mechanism" for any criticism they get from their own black friends.
"He is confused," Whitlock said of Howard. "He loves the fruits of white America, but he wants to hate the tree that produced them."
Whitlock called the article a "diary entry attached to the brand of the New York Times."
"If she was fearful of you, she would step out of the way" rather than risk walking into you, Whitlock said.
